Inter Madrassah Org is proud to announce a new Boys Youth Club under the Inspire Me project. For this IMO has joined forces with Masjid E Saliheen, Didsbury Street, Blackburn

Inspire me is a high profile and innovative project which is designed to make a measurable impact and difference to young people’s lives. The project is designed to address specific disadvantages suffered by young people in Blackburn which are the result of high levels of poverty and deprivation. These could include, low self-esteem, limited ambition and limited horizons.

The IMO Boys Club will be an excellent platform for boys aged between 12-16 years to come together and discuss issues that concern them in the community and also be able to do something about it. This club will be a relaxed, safe and fun environment for the youth of our community. It will be an opportunity for the boys to develop their skills, make new friends and try new activities.

The project officer and volunteers will mentor the young people in helping to create the leaders of tomorrow. The project will aim to raise self-confidence, aspirations, determination and leadership skills through various activities, campaigns and community projects.

Details of many more initiatives under this project will be announced in due course which includes “The Tribe” inspiring young people through arts and crafts. Details of our Girls Youth Forum is also available on our website.
