The DofE is the world’s leading youth achievement award, giving millions of 14 to 24-year-olds the opportunity to be the very best they can be.

Under our current successful Inspire Me programme, we are proud to announce we are working with D of E to get as many young people in Blackburn with Darwen to achieve this invaluable achievement award.

More than 1,800 organisations across the UK – including schools, colleges, universities, youth clubs, the Scouts and Guides, young offender institutions and businesses – help to run over 13,200 DofE centres.

“My DofE has made me realise I can be whoever I want to be.” Jay, Gold Award holder

Like Jay, many young people find achieving a DofE Award life-changing. A fun adventure and major challenge, three progressive Award levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) and a wide range of activities offer endless possibilities to anyone aged 14 to 24. Millions of young people in the UK have already taken part in the world’s leading youth achievement award – pushing personal boundaries, gaining new skills and enhancing their CVs and university applications.

DofE programmes are delivered under special licence to ensure they meet specific standards and you’ll be supported by a DofE Leader who offers advice and encouragement. Everyone involved is focused on helping you have experiences that will shape your future.

For now are we are looking to gather interest for both those who wish to achieve the D of E award but also those who wish to volunteer to help administer the award. This can also include someone to lead on administration for a school, local group, madrassah etc.
