Inter Madrassah Org is proud to announce a new unique Girls Youth Forum under the Inspire Me project.

Inspire me is a high profile and innovative project which is designed to make a measurable impact and difference to young people’s lives. The project is designed to address specific disadvantages suffered by young people in Blackburn which are the result of high levels of poverty and deprivation. These could include, low self-esteem, limited ambition and limited horizons.

The IMO Girls Youth Forum will be an excellent platform for girls aged between 14-18 years to come together and discuss issues that concern them in the community and also be able to do something about it. The forums primary aims will be to identify and address the social and economic needs of young girls and women in the local community.

The project officer and volunteers will mentor the young people in helping to create the female leaders of tomorrow. The project will aim to raise self-confidence, aspirations, determination and leadership skills through various activities, campaigns and community projects.

Details of many more initiatives under this project will be announced in due course which includes a boys youth club.
