Inter Madrassah Org is proud to announce a new Junior Club under the Inspire Me project.

Inspire me is a high profile and innovative project which is designed to make a measurable impact and difference to young people’s lives. The project is designed to address specific disadvantages suffered by young people in Blackburn which are the result of high levels of poverty and deprivation. These could include, low self-esteem, limited ambition and limited horizons.

The IMO Junior Club will be an excellent platform for boys and girls aged between 8-11 years to come together and take part in various social activities which include arts and crafts, team building, games and occasional educational trips. This club will be a relaxed, safe and fun environment for the youth of our community. It will be an opportunity for the children to develop their skills, make new friends and try new activities.

The project officer and volunteers will mentor the young people in helping to create the leaders of tomorrow. The project will aim to raise self-confidence, aspirations, determination and leadership skills through various activities, campaigns and community projects.

Details of many more initiatives under this project will be announced in due course which includes 6 week specific courses on photography, healthy eating, careers, self-defence classes and much more.
