Inter Madrassah Org is proud to announce that following the success of our Girls Youth Forum and the commitment of our volunteers we are now accepting new registrations for our well established Girls Youth Forum under the Inspire Me project.

Inspire Me is about to go into its 3rd year of delivery and is a high profile and innovative project designed to make a measurable difference to and impact on young people’s lives. The project is designed to address specific disadvantages suffered by young people in Blackburn which are the result of high levels of poverty and deprivation leading low self-esteem, limited horizons and ambitions.

The IMO Girls Youth Forum is an excellent platform for girls aged between 13-18 years to come together and discuss issues that concern them and the community and also be able to do something about it. The Forum’s primary aims will be to identify and address the social and economic needs of young girls and women in the local community.

The Project Officer and volunteers will mentor the young people helping to create the female leaders of tomorrow. The project will aim to raise self-confidence, aspirations, determination and leadership skills through various activities, campaigns and community projects.
